No. The compression is firm enough to support the joint, but it's graduated, not a tourniquet. It's meant to improve circulation, not restrict it. If a garment ever feels numb, tingly, or leaves a deep mark that doesn't fade quickly, size up and stop wearing that size.

Size down, not up. Compression garments work through gentle, even pressure, and one that's too loose won't do its job. If you're right on the line between two sizes on our size chart, go with the smaller one. The support will actually feel right.

It shouldn't. The bamboo fabric is soft with no rough interior seams, and most people wear it for hours without irritation. If you have known sensitivities to certain fabrics or dyes, start with shorter wear sessions the first few days, the way you would with any new garment.

Cold wash, 30°C max, inside a mesh laundry bag if you have one. No fabric softener or bleach. Air dry only: skip the dryer and radiators, both break down the compression fibers over time. Do this and it'll hold its shape for a long time.
